About the Project

Fox Squirrel Solar is a ground-mount solar photovoltaic facility under development in Madison County, Ohio. The project plans to deliver 577 MW of clean renewable energy to the utility grid by the end of 2024. Once operational, the project will generate little to no perceptible noise outside of the fence line, no odor, no material increase in traffic after construction, no pollution and will have minimal impact on the surrounding community. At the end of its useful life, the facility will be decommissioned and the land can be returned to its original agricultural use.

Project Update

Our application to the Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) was approved on July 15, when the OPSB issued a certificate of environmental compatibility and public need for the project. This marks an important milestone for the project, and brings us one step closer to bringing the project to fruition and its benefits to Madison County. We want to keep you updated every step of the way.
